Brief History
The original post growth incubation programme was designed and launched by Melanie Rieback in 2020 under the Nonprofit Ventures brand.
Since then the programme has run for six cohorts, supporting over 150 entrepreneurs in the process.
In 2026 the current team of Richard, Jutta, and Alice came together to make a new organisation: deepening the support offered to participating startups, and making post growth entrepreneurship even more widely accessible.
Team
Narwhal Ventures is run by a core team of people dedicated to doing the practical work needed to change the way our economies work.
Alice Bezett
Alice incubated her own business in the PGE Incubator in 2023 and has since also delivered the PGE incubator programmes.
Alice holds a PhD in theoretical and computational physics. She is an experienced data scientist and engineering director.
Jutta Jerlich
Jutta has been training students in business incubation for over twenty years, including teaching at the Technical University of Vienna.
She is an expert in creative thinking and collaborative learning, creating environments where people think boldly and dare to try new things.
